Props
In addition to Stage Management, I have been a prop maker for a number of shows, some of my work includes:

Pride and Prejudice by Jenny Stephens

Sammy and The Sea Morgans
The theme of this show was Bristol and recycled so all materials that were used for this production were all recycled and upcycled. I created a beard and a head for some giant which were made of different sea grasses. I also painted a large rug to create a seascape and distressed tea chests and large crates to match.
Pride and Prejudice
This Ornate show involved creating 4 large blanket chests which could be moved, stood on and for one of them to become a washing line. All 4 were made from scratch and reinforced and decorated. I also created 4 fans made of tyvek which were encased in boxes so they could be folded away and could stand up on their own when laid on the floor. Finally, I was given 2 red soldiers jackets and had to reinforce them so they would keep a human shape when put on a pole but also could be picked up and danced with.
Last Days of Judas Iscariot
Props were very minimal in this however I cast and painted a set of bones to be presented in a bag and created a matching set of badges for all the characters to wear during the trial. These were laser cut pieces that were then put together to create a mold and finally cast with resin.
